Sat in the bar. The bar tender was quite attentive and got everything correct without taking notes. Her drinks were delicious. Food was great, came out quickly and well seasoned. Chicken was a little dry but the numerous salsas made up for it. One caveat: the refried beans had a fishy taste. I enjoyed them. My friend couldn’t finish her bite. Other than that, I will definitely be returning.
UPDATED::Excellent strong margaritas. Real steak quesadilla was also excellent. Served lightning fast from a friendly waitress. Not sure where the bad reviews are coming from. As a business traveler I frequent dive bars to fine dining up and down the east coast. This place was wonderful. UPDATE:: Same experience as above. Maybe the best steak quesadilla I ever had. Their complimentary salsa is also above standard.
I’m late for this review but the impression is still great! My girlfriend and I met for an early dinner here after work and it was absolutely delicious. The servers here were very nice and attentive in addition to being patient while we made up our minds for our choices. She enjoyed a chicken entree, I had a deliciously fresh scallops and shrimp fajita, and we both had a margarita. Our food came out so hot and savory! The margaritas were sweet but colorful and well flavored! The queso dip is really yummy! I would absolutely go back and order the same again!
Took grandkids and family. Nice seating, friendly staff, good food and price was in line. Son got the 32 ounce margarita and it was $28. Most expensive thing we ordered. Kids meals were good and they loved the virgin drinks.
Was in the area, needed something to eat, and tried this place, food was Excellent, really enjoyed myself, was in a Rush,
Ive been here 5 time now and everything has always been great. Starting from chips and salsa to main course. Large margaritas work if you know what I mean. Enchiladas sampler with beans and rice, a buddy had the burrito Colorado. Always a great job. Thank you.
All of the food was really good, but I tried the churros and the fried ice cream and the churros were a little undercooked, but the cinnamon and sugar was coated very very nicely. And the shell for the fried ice cream tasted kind of like wheat flakes or something like that. But but I’m just saying that as a suggestion, I’m trying to help you out not trying to be mean you should eat here if you’re a customer but if you can, please cook the churros longer and find a better shell for the fried ice cream.
Good food. Took a couple of Texans there and they say it is the best Mexican food in Maryland. They would know better than me, but I liked it pretty well, too. Portions seemed generous for me. Included chips and salsa were ok. Carnitas was tasty. Lots of choices in tequila and margaritas, prices from house brand reasonable up to stratospheric for the fancy stuff. We sat in the casual dining room, formica tables and linoleum floor, but all the right elements were there. The bar had a tv on with sports. There was Mexican music in the background and a spanish language tv on in the dining room with no or low volume.
